Tim was the first pastor of Grace Community Church. Conference speaker, Michael Durham, has lived and experienced the theme of this conference. Having being reared in church, he made a profession of faith at a very early age. He entered college and ministerial training with the idea of becoming a clergyman and perhaps one day an evangelist helping others to come to Christ. But only one problem - he had never been truly converted. While pastoring his second church it became very clear to him that he had been a Christian in name only. Seven months later his life changed when something happened that the Bible describes as the "new birth."
Durham has served as pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Paducah, KY since 1993. He is the founder and speaker of Living Priorities Ministries. He also is the editor of a quarterly magazine, The Expositor, as well as conference speaker here in the states and abroad.
Michael lives in Paducah, Kentucky with his wife Karen and daughter Victoria. He has two sons both of whom are walking with God and have moved away from home.
